How to enrol in the High School
- Campus visit – contact the Admissions Office – 053 110680 ext. 104 or email admissions@nis.ac.th in order to organize a visit to our campus. We welcome your visit anytime.
- Application – a completed application must be made prior to a testing date being made.
- Transcripts – academic records in English or Thai of the applying student must be received prior to testing.
- Documents - The following documents must be received prior to testing:
- A completed and signed NIS application form
- Payment of the non refundable 2 000 Baht application fee
- Current and previous school records of the applying student
- 4 x passports sized photographs
- A copy of the student’s immunization record
- A copy of the student and parent passport with visa
- A copy of the student and parent I.D.
- A copy of the student’s birth certificate
- For applicants living with a guardian – a copy of the guardian passport with visa
- Interview – when all the required documents and transcripts have been received, the admissions counselor will schedule an appointment for an interview with the student and parents.
- Guardianship at NIS: All persons nominated by parents to act as legal guardians must register with the Admissions Counselor prior to enrollment. No student will be enrolled without a parent or guardian present at the initial admissions/student interview. The school must be notified of changes in guardianship. NIS reserves the right to refuse re-enrollment to any minor student who is found to be without a registered guardian.
- Admissions testing – tests are tailored to the age and grade of the applicant. All students are required to take the admission test. An ELS or EAP test may also be required to determine the need for English support.
- Admissions committee – the results of the interview and testing will be presented to the admissions committee. Acceptance or refusal of the student will be decided at this meeting. Grade placements will also be discussed and decided upon
- Registration – The non-refundable Registration Fee of 60 000 Baht must be paid within 14 days of when the student is accepted.
- Waiting list – When space is limited, students who have passed the admission test may be placed on a waiting list. Parents will be informed of acceptance no later than the first week of the semester.
- All tuition and fees must be paid or payment organized with the Finance Office prior to the student commencing school.
When all the documentation has been received by the Admissions Counselor, an interview and testing date will be discussed and arranged.
All applications must go through the Admissions Counselor.
