The Art Program

Elementary Art

Creative ability is something which all children have. Children's development in art comes both from inside themselves and from the world outside. Art allows them to express their own thoughts, ideas and experiences. To enable this learning process, children need to be exposed to a wide variety of materials and expressive activities.

Nakornpayap International School Art Program

Enthusiasm is also very important: the feeling that art is an enjoyable, valuable activity and that success is in everybody's reach.

High School Art

The development of skills or techniques in art is important, but these are best learned as students struggle to express their own ideas, thoughts and experiences. Students at any stage in art class have the ability to produce something that for them is new or unique when compared with previous efforts.

The program provides opportunities for advanced art students to develop strong portfolios that may be used for college entry, and encourage students who are hesitant about art to try their best and be patient while their skills develop. Overall, the high school art program is a chance for students to discover more about themselves and the world around them.
