NIS: Swimming Dear Parents Letter concerning swimming Just to keep you informed, last week we tested the students during the swimming class and this week have put them into groups. The groups are A or B group and your child/children have been put into the group that most suits their swimming ability and will enable them to learn as much as they can from the swimming class (For a list of the groups please see the next page). The swimming pool is still a little cold, but only when you first jump in, once you start swimming it's a very good temperature. So please send your children with their swimming suit on the correct day, those children who miss swimming a lot will not only miss out on the experience but will also be marked down when it comes to grading. Swimming Days are as follows: Grade 1+2: Group A Tuesday, Group B Thursday Grade 3+4: Group A Monday, Group B Friday Grade 5+6: Group A Tuesday, Group B Thursday Don't forget that every Monday, Wednesday and Friday there is Swimming Club with Mr. May after school. This is a great opportunity for the kids to grow in confidence in the swimming pool and have fun at the same time. I will keep you informed about the sports program as best I can and if you have any questions don't hesitate to contact the school or e-mail me at: athleticdirector@nis.ac.th Thanks Lee Stevens (Athletic Director)
