Summer Camp

NIS offers a 5-week Summer School program in June and July each year.  The emphasis is on academic and English development as well as on having fun through a range of activities and weekly field trips for all levels.

Early Learners is a fun developmental program for 3-5 year old.
The program offers a warm, nurturing environment where young children become active learners. This program is de­signed to provide a solid beginning for your child’s ed­ucation. We offer a developmentally appropriate pro­gram focused both on activities and having fun. Your child will acquire social skills, as well as independence.

Elementary has an Intensive English Camp for non-native English speakers as well as an Adventure Day Camp.
This dynamic program is offered to help children to make new friends and learn through fun activities. Weekly field trips are included.

 High School summer camp provides an opportunity for current students to improve their skills or for students new to the school to get to know the academic expectations for the following year.
An academic program including intensive English, Sci­ence and Math is offered. Students take part in weekly activities and field trips throughout the program to make friends and have fun in between their academic classes
Students from outside of Chiang Mai join the camp each summer.  Many students from other International Schools in the area also come to learn, play and meet new friends.

All programs are designed to be flexible so that families may choose which weeks their children wish to attend.

Accommodation is available for your child during the summer camp with one of our NIS families, who provide home-stay facilities for students throughout the year. Full transportation is also available.

The classes are great because we have really incredible teachers. The field trips are fun and countless memories are made during these adventures. Making friends at NIS is easy, everyone is so nice. It's just a great place to meet people. The NIS campus is a bit small, but it's also very cosy. I like it. 

The classes are made fun and exciting. The teachers are nice and make work interesting. The field trips are fun and interesting. You meet lots of nice people from different countries and become really close to them. And you have lots of friends who will go to school with you after the summer is over. The buildings are well-spaced so you don't have to walk too far. The food is good. 

I have been to the NIS summer camp three times.  In 2008, 2009 and last year in 2010; and each time it is different.  We have so much fun and the teachers are always brilliant.  I especially loved the horse riding.  I hope I can go again next year.
