NIS Summer 2019 : Day 16 at Ginger Farm.

Today the ECC Classes went to The Ginger Farm! A 22 rai (8 acre) farm, where local restaurants and cafes can source their ingredients for their establishments. The children were able to walk through rice paddies, see water buffaloes, goats, chickens and pigs on our walking path. Our activities today consisted of: Feeding the chickens their breakfast, then harvesting an egg each, and then painting recycled paper fans to take home! We had a delicious lunch made with the vegetables grown on the farm, and got to learn about how The Ginger Farm works to provide to local restaurants in the city. It was a hot but super fun and educational day!
