NIS Summer School: Week 2 – Day 5

Ginger Farm – Middle School Summer Camp Today the Middle School summer camp went to ‘Ginger Farm’. Children learnt all about the history and importance of rice in Thai culture. We had a chance to feed the horse, buffalo, and the goats. After that, students were able to experience real Thai culture by planting rice in the paddy. It was soft and squidgy! Then it was time for some traditional Thai fun – playing on the mud-slider! After lunch, students made scarecrows. Congratulations to Peter, Marko, and Sweet for creating the most beautiful ones!
