On December 14th, NIS held our annual Winter Carnival! It was a grand event featuring our whole
community. Parents and friends set up booths selling delicious foods. Everyone could also shop
around the stalls for holiday gift items such as scarves, silver jewelry, bags, and much more. Mr.
Dave’s Technology Class showcased all the woodwork pieces made throughout the semester:
mirrors, tables, shelves, etc. Student Council hosted a raffle with prizes from parents and local
businesses. The major highlight of the night was the talent showcase featuring singing, dancing, and
bands performed by the youngest (K1) to the oldest (teachers) members of NIS. It was a true
celebration with our students, parents, alumni, teachers and friends and a fantastic way to end the
first half of this school year.
