Local authorities are preparing daffodil flowers made from sandalwood for the Royal Cremation Ceremony of the late HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej. The official ceremony will take place in Bangkok on October 26. The Chiang Mai community will take part in the cremation ceremony at the International Exhibition and Convention Center here in Chiang Mai, where a replica of the funeral pyre has been built.
The NIS Community made sandalwood flowers to contribute to the cremation ceremony. Earlier this month, NIS School Director Ms. Narvinder Ahuja and the Thai Language teachers, on behalf of NIS, went to Chiang Mai City Hall to present the sandalwood flowers to Mr. Prawin Chamniprasart, the Chiang Mai Governor.
