IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS TAKING THE SAT TEST on OCTOBER 2, 2021

Test-takers must read the below information and bring the requested documentation to obtain entry into the testing room.
These are required in addition to what the College Board required for admission as well.

For test-takers who arrived in Chiang Mai from Bangkok, Nakhon Pathom, Nonthaburi, Pathumthani, Samut Prakan, Samut Sakhon, Chachoengsao, Chionburi, Phra Nakorn Si Ayutthaya, Narathiwat, Pattani, Yala, Songkhla, Kanchanaburi, Tak, Nakhon Nayok, Nakhon Ratchasima, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Prachinburi, Phetchaburi, Phetchabun, Rayong, Ratchaburi, Lopburi, Sing Buri, Samut Songkhram, Saraburi, Suphan Buri or Ang Thong:

1) If the test-taker arrived in Chiang Mai after September 27, he/she will not be permitted to take the SAT Test on October 2, 2021 due to quarantine mandates.

2) If the test-taker arrived to Chiang Mai before September 27, he/she must show the following evidence to be able to take SAT Test on October 2, 2021:

  • passport or Thai citizenship ID card
  • current & valid student ID card
  • travel evidence: plane tickets, highway stubs, gas receipts
  • hotel reservations or other proof of residence at place of stay while in Chiang Mai
  • information from completing the CM-Chana app upon arrival

 

For test-takers who arrived in Chiang Mai from other areas and locations in Thailand:

1) If the test-taker arrived to Chiang Mai from other areas in Thailand, he/she must show the following evidence to be able to take SAT Test on October 2, 2021:

  • passport or Thai citizenship ID card
  • current & valid student ID card
  • travel evidence: plane tickets, highway stubs, gas receipts
  • hotel reservations or other proof of residence at place of stay while in Chiang Mai
  • information from completing the CM-Chana app upon arrival

 

For test-takers who live and attend school in Chiang Mai:

1) If the test-taker arrived lives in Chiang Mai, he/she must show the following evidence to be able to take SAT Test on October 2, 2021:

  • passport or Thai citizenship ID card
  • current & valid student ID card
  • proof of residence of living in Chiang Mai

 

We will pay close attention to the COVID regulations from the Chiang Mai Government and ensure that all safety protocols are followed. 

Please kindly be patient as this may cause some changes later in the planning process as we work with the most current information.
