Dr. Kanyika (Dental Surgeon) from NM Dental Clinic gave a presentation to all our ECC students. She showed the kids what happens when they go to the dentist office. Aleena and Xixi also got to put on a dentist jacket and be a mini-dentist. They even checked the mouths of patients! Dr. Kanyika was so friendly – now our kids are no longer scared to go to the dentist.
It was also great for our students to see that women are also dentists. It’s never too early to inspire our students to dream about their future careers. Now our little girls know that they too can grow up to be dentists.
